About Sonny Mayo

Before stepping into real estate, I went from a successful career in the music industry to a calling
rooted in service. In my work with Rock to Recovery®, I used music as a tool for healing in recovery
and mental health programs. Through that work, I witnessed the power of connection, compassion,
and hope-facilitating groups and guiding people as they worked to rebuild their lives and find a
sense of home within themselves. That same heart for helping others is what I bring to real estate,
walking alongside clients through one of life's most important transitions and helping them find a
place where their own story can truly flourish.

My next chapter began in February 2025, when I moved to Tucson with the love of my life, my wife
Lara-one of my greatest blessings. Every day, I'm grateful we are now building a home here in
Tucson-grounded in faith, purpose, and service-while becoming part of this amazing community.

I'm still learning the streets, trails, landmarks, and hidden gems of Tucson (with the help of my
amazing wife, who knows this whole region like the back of her hand!)-but I've already fallen in love
with its dark sky nights, the dramatic clouds and summer monsoons, and the welcoming people who
give this place its spirit. With Team Mayo at 1912 Realty, my goal is simple: walk alongside you in
one of life's biggest transitions and help you find the home where your story truly begins.
